He is a Mexican national who rose from humble beginnings to become the leader of the Sinaloa Cartel, one of the most powerful drug trafficking organizations globally. Guzmán’s early life was marked by poverty, and he entered the drug trade in the late 1970s. Over the years, he built an extensive network for smuggling drugs, particularly cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana, and heroin, into the United States and other countries. His cunning, ruthlessness, and ability to evade law enforcement made him a legendary figure in the criminal underworld.
