Anger attended Camarillo High School, where he excelled as a multi-sport athlete, participating in football, soccer, and baseball. He continued his football career at the collegiate level, playing for the University of California, Berkeley. During his time at Cal, Anger established himself as one of the top punters in the country, earning numerous accolades and awards for his outstanding performance on the field.
