Ford-Wheaton began his football career in high school, playing for Holly Springs High School in North Carolina. During his time there, he quickly became a standout player with his speed, agility, and remarkable catching abilities. His talent caught the attention of college recruiters, and he eventually accepted a scholarship to play for West Virginia University.
