Kuntz initially played college football for the Duquesne Dukes before transferring to the University of California, Berkeley. After going undrafted in the 2017 NFL Draft, Kuntz signed with the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent. He spent some time on the Patriots’ practice squad before signing with the Denver Broncos in 2018. Kuntz then had short stints with the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Pittsburgh Steelers before re-signing with the Steelers in 2021.
