After a successful collegiate career, Rush entered the 2017 NFL Draft but went undrafted. He signed with the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in May 2017. Throughout his time with the Cowboys, Rush has served as a backup quarterback and has seen limited playing time. Despite not being a starter, Rush has been praised for his work ethic and dedication to the team.
