Jones attended Penn State University, where he played college football for the Penn State Nittany Lions. He was then selected by the Tennessee Titans in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL Draft. Jones spent seven seasons with the Titans before signing with the Carolina Panthers in 2021. He then signed with the Buffalo Bills in 2022.
