Barnett started his football career at the University of Tennessee, where he played for three seasons from 2014 to 2016. During his time at Tennessee, he set multiple records, including breaking Reggie White’s school record for career sacks. His outstanding performances earned him numerous accolades, such as being named the SEC Defensive Player of the Year in 2016.
