Lloyd began his football career playing for East High School in Salt Lake City, where he quickly garnered attention for his skills on the field. After high school, he continued his football journey at the University of Utah, where he played for the Utes football team. During his time at Utah, Lloyd developed into one of the top linebackers in the nation, earning recognition for his impressive tackling ability and football IQ.
