Hyatt attended Dutch Fork High School in Irmo, where he excelled in both football and track and field. His speed and agility on the field quickly caught the attention of college scouts, and he was recruited to play for the University of Tennessee Volunteers. During his time at Tennessee, Hyatt continued to impress with his athleticism and skills as a wide receiver.
