Williams began his football career at Wallace-Rose Hill High School, where he showcased his exceptional talent as a running back. He went on to play college football at the University of North Carolina, where he continued to impress with his powerful running style and ability to break tackles. In his junior year, Williams rushed for 1,140 yards and 19 touchdowns, earning himself a spot in the 2021 NFL Draft.
