Johnson played college football at the University of Arizona, where he had a successful career as a wide receiver. After going undrafted in the 2019 NFL Draft, Johnson signed with the Los Angeles Rams as an undrafted free agent. He spent time on the Rams’ practice squad before being signed by the Houston Texans in 2020.
