
Born on February 10, 1994, in Asunción, Paraguay, Almirón began his professional career in his home country before making a move to the MLS in 2017. He played for Atlanta United in the United States for two seasons, where he quickly made a name for himself as one of the league’s top players. His performances caught the eye of Premier League scouts, and in January 2019, he made a big-money move to Newcastle United, becoming the club’s record signing at the time.
