Hilton began his football career at the University of Mississippi, where he played college football for the Ole Miss Rebels. During his college career, he recorded 172 tackles, six interceptions, and three sacks. Despite going undrafted in the 2016 NFL Draft, Hilton signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent.
