Wilcox attended the University of South Florida, where he played college football as a tight end for the USF Bulls. During his time at USF, Wilcox demonstrated exceptional talent and potential, attracting the attention of NFL scouts and teams. In the 2020 NFL Draft, Wilcox signed with the Cincinnati Bengals as an undrafted free agent. He spent the 2020 season on the Bengals’ practice squad before being released in 2021.
