McMillan began his football career early on, playing at Liberty County High School where he quickly rose through the ranks and gained recognition for his exceptional skills on the field. He went on to play college football for the Ohio State Buckeyes at Ohio State University, where he continued to showcase his talent as a linebacker. During his time at Ohio State, McMillan was a key player for the team and helped lead them to several victories.
