Nuñez-Roches attended Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where he played college football for the Jaguars. In 2015, he was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the sixth round of the NFL Draft. He spent three seasons with the Chiefs, appearing in 34 games and recording 51 tackles and 1.5 sacks.
