Miller attended Barrington High School in Illinois, where he played football and stood out as a talented wide receiver. After high school, he went on to play college football at Bowling Green State University in Ohio. During his time at Bowling Green, Miller had a successful career, recording over 2,800 receiving yards and 23 touchdowns in his four seasons.
