Lacy started his football career at Sachse High School, where he excelled on the field and caught the attention of college scouts. He went on to play college football at the University of Oklahoma, where he continued to showcase his skills as a defensive standout. During his time at Oklahoma, Lacy proved to be a disruptive force on the field, recording multiple sacks and tackles for loss.
