Clapp’s journey to the NFL began during his college years at Louisiana State University (LSU), where he played for the Tigers football team from 2014 to 2017. During his time at LSU, Clapp was a standout player, earning multiple accolades and awards for his performance on the field. He was named to the All-SEC Second Team in 2016 and 2017 and was also a member of the Rimington Trophy watch list in 2017. Clapp’s stellar play at LSU caught the attention of NFL scouts, leading to his selection by the New Orleans Saints in the 7th round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
