Allen attended Boston College, where he played college football for the Eagles. He had an impressive career at Boston College, racking up 199 tackles, 40.5 tackles for loss, and 16.5 sacks during his time there. His performance on the field caught the attention of NFL scouts, and he was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
