Day began his career at a young age, playing for Nottingham Forest’s youth academy. He showed great potential and skill, eventually earning a spot in the senior team. After making several appearances for Nottingham Forest, Day went on to play for several other clubs including Mansfield Town, Notts County, and Lincoln City.
