In 2012, Proctor signed with Swansea City, but he struggled to secure a spot in the first team and was subsequently loaned out to various clubs, including Shrewsbury Town, Crawley Town, Fleetwood Town, and Bradford City. It was during his loan spell at Bradford City that Proctor enjoyed a successful stint, scoring 10 goals in 18 appearances.
