Williams started his career at West Bromwich Albion’s youth academy before moving to Cheltenham Town in 2008. He spent two seasons at Cheltenham Town before being signed by Brentford in 2010. During his time at Brentford, Williams played a crucial role in the team’s defense, helping them secure a spot in the Football League One playoffs in the 2012-2013 season.
