Mark Venus is a former professional footballer who currently serves as the Head of Recruitment for Birmingham City Football Club. Born on the 26th of February, 1967, in Hartlepool, England, Venus began his playing career in 1985 with his hometown club Hartlepool United before moving on to play for Leicester City, Wolves, Ipswich Town, and Cambridge United.
