Dúbravka made his professional debut for MŠK Žilina in 2008 and quickly established himself as a talented goalkeeper. He went on to have successful stints with clubs such as Esbjerg fB in Denmark and Sparta Prague in the Czech Republic before eventually signing for Newcastle United in January 2018 on loan.
