Throughout his career, Ravenhill has played for several clubs, including Barnsley FC, Bradford City, Rotherham United, Northampton Town, and Scunthorpe United. He began his career at Barnsley FC before moving on to Bradford City, where he made over 100 appearances for the club. Ravenhill then went on to play for Rotherham United, Northampton Town, and finally Scunthorpe United before returning to Barnsley FC.
