Fawdry began his career playing for the youth academy of Leeds United before making his senior debut for the club in 2012. He then went on to play for various clubs in the lower leagues of English football, including Burton Albion and Walsall FC. Fawdry’s impressive performances on the field caught the attention of Barnsley FC, and he signed with the club in 2018.
