Goutas started his professional career with AEL Kalloni in the Greek Super League, where he impressed with his defensive abilities and versatility on the field. He then went on to play for other Greek clubs such as PAS Lamia 1964 and Apollon Smyrni before making the move to Cardiff City in 2021.
