Ian Evatt is an English professional footballer who currently plays as a defender for Bolton Wanderers. Born on November 19, 1981, in Coventry, England, Evatt began his football career at Derby County, where he spent five years in their youth academy before making his first-team debut in 1998. He went on to make 58 appearances for the club before joining Northampton Town on loan in 2002.
