In 2013, Hunt made a move to Premier League club Huddersfield Town for an undisclosed fee. He spent two seasons at Huddersfield before joining Sheffield Wednesday in 2016. Hunt made over 100 appearances for Sheffield Wednesday before joining Bristol City in 2018. He then moved to Bristol Rovers in 2020, where he currently plies his trade.
