Beyer began his youth career at Borussia Monchengladbach in Germany. He progressed through the ranks at the club before making his senior debut for the first team in 2019. After spending a few seasons at Borussia Monchengladbach, he made a move to Hamburger SV in 2021 before eventually joining Burnley FC in 2022.
