Cullen began his youth career at West Ham United, where he rose through the ranks and developed his skills as a midfielder. In 2015, he made his senior debut for West Ham in a Europa League qualifier against FC Lusitans. Following his debut, he was loaned out to clubs such as Bradford City, Bolton Wanderers, and Charlton Athletic to gain valuable first-team experience.
