Telalović began his professional career playing for Bosnian club FK Sarajevo. He quickly made a name for himself as a skilled defender with excellent technical ability and composure on the ball. His performances caught the attention of scouts from clubs across Europe, leading to his move to FK Željezničar in 2017.
