Shepley began his football career playing for the Vancouver Island Raiders in the Canadian Junior Football League. He then went on to play college football at the University of British Columbia where he established himself as a standout player. Shepley’s talent and skills eventually caught the attention of NFL scouts, leading to him being signed as an undrafted free agent by the New York Jets in 2018.
