Agyei began his football career at an early age, playing for local clubs in Ghana before being scouted by European clubs. He signed his first professional contract with Burnley FC in 2015, joining their youth academy. Agyei quickly made a name for himself with his impressive performances and was promoted to the first team in 2017.
