Turner signed with the New England Revolution in Major League Soccer in 2016 as an undrafted goalkeeper and worked his way up to become the team’s number one, helping the Revolution reach the MLS Cup Playoffs multiple times. He earned his first USMNT call-up and made his debut on January 31, 2021, saving a penalty in a friendly against Trinidad and Tobago.

He left MLS to join Arsenal from New England on June 27, 2022. After limited playing time in the Premier League, he signed with Nottingham Forest in August 2023.
