After retiring from professional football in 2013, Critchley transitioned to coaching, where he found great success. He joined Liverpool FC’s youth academy as an under-18 coach and quickly proved his talent for developing young players. Over the years, Critchley’s coaching abilities were recognized, and he was promoted to the role of U23 coach at Liverpool.
