Born on November 24, 1999, in Harrogate, England, Kitching began his football career at Leeds United’s academy. He joined Leeds United as a 10-year-old and progressed through the youth ranks before ultimately making his first-team debut for the club in 2017. However, after limited opportunities at Leeds United, Kitching moved to Harrogate Town on loan in 2019 before signing a permanent deal with Forest Green Rovers in the same year.
