In 2009, Galinović moved to Germany to join FC Energie Cottbus in the Bundesliga. He spent two seasons with the club before moving on to Greek side PAS Giannina in 2011. After a brief stint in Greece, Galinović returned to Croatia to join HNK Rijeka, where he spent four seasons as the first-choice goalkeeper.
