Danny Andrew began his football career playing for local youth teams in Nottingham before being scouted by Peterborough United. He made his professional debut for Peterborough United in 2008 and went on to have successful loan spells at clubs like Cheltenham Town and Mansfield Town. In 2012, he signed with Fleetwood Town where he made over 150 appearances over four seasons.
