In 2019, Bonne joined Charlton Athletic in the EFL Championship, where he continued to showcase his goal-scoring prowess. After a season with Charlton, he made the move to join Scottish Premiership club Dundee on loan in 2020. Bonne returned to England in 2021, signing with Ipswich Town before ultimately making a permanent transfer to Cambridge United later that year.
