Mukesh Dhirubhai Ambani was born on April 19, 1957, in Aden, Yemen. He is an Indian national who took over the reins of Reliance Industries from his father, Dhirubhai Ambani. Mukesh Ambani attended the Institute of Chemical Technology in Matunga and later pursued an MBA from Stanford University but left the program in 1980 to help his father build Reliance Industries.
