Akio Toyoda was born on May 3, 1956, in Nagoya, Japan. He is a Japanese national and the grandson of Kiichiro Toyoda, the founder of Toyota Motor Corporation. His career at Toyota began in 1984, where he held various positions in different departments, gaining extensive experience in the automotive industry.
