Dimon’s rise to prominence can be attributed to his exceptional leadership skills and strategic vision. After a fallout with Weill, Dimon left Citigroup and eventually became CEO of Bank One. In 2004, Bank One was acquired by JPMorgan Chase, and Dimon became the CEO of JPMorgan Chase in 2005. Under Dimon’s leadership, JPMorgan Chase has grown to become the largest bank in the United States by assets and one of the most respected financial institutions in the world.
