Joe Biden was born on November 20, 1942, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, USA. He attended the University of Delaware, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in history and political science, and later graduated from Syracuse University College of Law. Biden began his political career as a county council member in Delaware before being elected to the U.S. Senate in 1972, representing Delaware for 36 years. He later served as Vice President under President Barack Obama from 2009 to 2017 and was elected the 46th President of the United States in 2020.
