Alain Prost was born on February 24, 1955, in Lorette, France. He began his karting career at a young age and quickly demonstrated exceptional talent. Prost progressed through the ranks of motorsport, winning the French and European Formula Three championships in 1979. His impressive performances earned him a place in Formula One, where he made his debut with McLaren in 1980.
