Jackson was born on August 11, 1999, in Phoenix, Arizona. He is of American nationality and got his start in football at a young age, playing in high school before going on to play college football at the University of Southern California (USC). After a successful collegiate career, Jackson was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft, being selected as the 18th overall pick.
