After three seasons with the Oregon Ducks, Schooler transferred to the University of Texas Longhorns for his senior season. At Texas, Schooler made the transition to safety and played in all 10 games of the 2020 season, recording 46 tackles, 3 interceptions, and 1 forced fumble.
