Johnson began his football career playing in high school where he showcased his talent as a powerful defensive end. He was highly sought after by college football programs and ultimately chose to play for the University of Texas at Austin. During his time at Texas, Johnson continued to impress with his performance on the field, earning accolades and recognition for his defensive prowess.
