Hogg’s football journey started at Ipswich Town, where he began his youth career before making his first-team debut in 2002. He played for Ipswich until 2008, making over 50 appearances for the club. He then moved to Hibernian in Scotland, where he spent two seasons before transferring to Inverness Caledonian Thistle. Hogg had a brief stint at Boston United before joining Alloa Athletic in 2013. In 2015, he signed with East Stirlingshire, where he played until 2018 before joining Bristol City.
